BLUFFTON LEGION HALL BUILT IN 1952

The Bluffton Legion was formed by a group of veterans after the First World War, and eventually came to include men who had fought in the Second World War as well. In 1952 they constructed this building, which was often used for community events such as bridal showers, dances, or elections. In 1986 the Bluffton Legion Hall building was purchased and moved onto the site. It was decided to use the building as a war museum to house uniforms, equipment, firearms and photographs from the war years.
