HOMESTEADERS COTTAGE BUILT IN 1932

In the later 70’s there was much discussion about acquiring a log building for the park. It was eventually decided to accept a donation from the Kramer family of a partially finished log house that was started in 1932 by Felix Edlund, a Swedish miner, who abandoned the building when it was nearly finished and left the area for reasons unknown. Members of the Society completed the building and developed an early settlers home.
